Previously known as Arrowhead Highway, The Strip gets its name from LAPD officer and businessman Guy McAffee who named it after his hometown’s Sunset Strip. The Strip is the most sought out tourist destination because of its amazing architecture, flashy lights, and numerous attractions. The Strip is one of Vegas’ driving forces in its economy and part of the Strip is considered a scenic drive referred to as an All American Road.
