4-coat System
We use at least four coats in our epoxy coating system to ensure that your floor lasts longer and has the highest durability of any flooring system.
Water-Based vs. Solvent-Based Epoxy
Our company uses a high-quality solvent-based clear seal for the top coating of our four coat system. This seal ensures better adhesion, faster cure times, and the highest durability.
30 ML Thick Epoxy Coatings
We apply our epoxy coatings with a minimum of 30 ML thickness to guarantee that our floor coating solutions surpass the longevity and performance of other coatings applied at a lesser thickness.
Epoxy Life Expectancy
When properly installed and maintained, our four-coat epoxy system will last decades in your home or business! This is far surpassing the longevity of DIY kits or traditional flooring.
What is Our 4-Coat System?
Epoxy Resin- 12 ML Thickness
Once your concrete has been prepped, we start our 4-coat system with a 12 ML thick coat of epoxy.
Flake Broadcast, which protects from abrasions and chemicals while adding slip resistance.
We protect the floor from abrasions while adding chemical and slip resistance by broadcasting a flake aggregate into the resin.
Coat of Polyurethane- 9 ML thick
Next, we apply the first coat of clear polyurethane at 9 ML thick to seal the flakes in place.
Seal Coat and Optional Polyaspartic Coat
The final step in the process is the second coat of clear polyurethane at 9 ML thick. An additional topcoat of polyaspartic urethane is optional.
