About Art’s District
The Arts District of Las Vegas was founded in 1998. This area is also commonly referred to as 18b because it was 18 blocks that were set aside to encourage artists and their art. Today the area exceeds the original 18 blocks and is known as the cultural hub of art. The Arts District hosts a First Friday Art walk and draws in as many as 30,000 people for the event. Not only is the Arts District for art and entertainment, but it is also known for its many places to eat and drink. This district has delicious food and, in Vegas-style, many places to knock back a few.
Living in Art’s District
The Arts District is a place to experience many different art forms and enjoy edgy warehouses that have been converted to performance centers. There are many things to do in the Arts District that can be enjoyable as well as educational, including the Burlesque Hall of Fame. Apartments in the area are a mix of old Vegas and newer Southwestern style and are priced at a steal! Residents can enjoy themselves at many different establishments, most notable is the Art Factory. Art Factory is the perfect place to eat, drink, and enjoy different types of art and shows.
