Green Valley is an upscale neighborhood of Henderson and was opened in 1978. Developed by the American Nevada Corporation, Green Valley is Southern Nevada’s first master-planned community. The nearby Fox Ridge Park has nice open spaces and playgrounds for children. Silver Springs Park offers not only walking courses and playgrounds but has a lighted ball field on site. Green Valley covers 8,400 acres and includes Green Valley Ranch and Green Valley South. There are many places to shop and dine as well as many resorts and casinos making this a wonderful place to live with plenty of entertainment.
